I'm excited! How do we start?

The first thing is you fill out our Website Worksheet and pay your setup fees. This does two things; it helps you think through and communicate to us about your products or services, the market you serve, your competition, strengths, design preferences, and most of all, your goals for your new website.

Then we do some information gathering.

We meet by phone or in person with you and talk in depth about what you want and need the website to do for your organization. We explore what you may have learned, both good and bad about your competitor's online presence.

Is there a setup charge?

Yes there is. It's somewhat like the lease origination charges you might have come across when leasing a vehicle or a property.

How are the monthly charges handled?

You use a credit or debit card for monthly auto-pay payments that are scheduled each month on a day that best suits your cash flow.

What is the term of the agreement?

The standard lease runs 24 months after which you can extend your lease and receive a complete website refresh at no additonal charge; you can downgrade to hosting and maintenance based on your needs at the time, or you can have the website transferred to the host of your choice.

Is my search engine optimization affected if I move my site after the lease?

The best answer is maybe. All the fundamental on-page optimization remains intact, however Google measures page load speed as a ranking signal. If you were to hypothetically move from our high performance dedicated servers to a low cost service, GoDaddy for example, and then your Google PageSpeed index decreases it's possible it will be reflected in lower rankings.

How come you don't offer phone support?

Our clients prefer a ticket system which keeps a written record of everything so we all stay on the same page. Plus a ticket system is easier for both you and us to track.
